Four Letters in a Field is another collaboration I worked on. My partner and I were given the challenge
of putting four letters in a field and we chose the word “hope.” We wanted to keep the exact meaning of
the installation open to the viewers. Whether people looked at the field and saw a great place for real
estate development or saw a great chance for nature to be nature, the meaning is open to the audience.

An important aspect of this challenge was learning to follow a project from start to finish. My partner
and I learned how to create a design proposal and the components that need to be incorporated in that.
My partner and I researched scale to decide how big to make the letters and how to make the most of
our material. We were also lucky enough to install our piece where it was up for about two weeks.
